About Lin’s Touch of Elegance
Since 1987, Lin’s has provided expert refinishing, repair and restoration of antique furniture. Lin works with insurance adjusters and individuals to bring back to life furniture that has been damaged by smoke, fire, water or neglect.

Lin’s Touch of Elegance handles all sizes of restoration and repair work from individual pieces to large volume orders for restaurants, schools, convention centers and government agencies.

Lin’s Touch of Elegance is recognized as one of the premiere antique furniture shops on the east coast. Through our shop in historic Bedford, Pennsylvania and this website, we present a large and varied selection of high quality period items.

About Lin
Lin is a vibrant young woman with dynamic energy and enthusiasm that crosses over into her work. Lin has helped hundreds of people with their furniture restoration and home decorating needs. Her quick mind snatches the customer’s idea, making it come alive as she feeds it with her own creative input.

"When customers come in to the shop, I say 'Talk to me.' Do you want to put the piece in a kitchen, dining room, bathroom, or corner of a living room? I need to know desired location, room type, and its function to help me generate the best options for your needs."

Lin is always looking to purchase those unique pieces that make her decorating ideas and designs the ones that make you feel at home no matter what the occasion. The antiques Lin uses gives the designs a more personal touch.

Historic Bedford is centrally located between the Washington D.C., Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Harrisburg metropolitan areas, and is just a few minutes from the Bedford Exit 146 (previously Exit 11) on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

From the Bedford Turnpike Exit:
Take Route I-99 south to Bedford exit. Turn right on Business Route 30 (Richard Street) and go 1 mile into town. At the second light after the bridge, turn left onto Penn Street and go one block. Turn left onto South Bedford Street. Go one block and turn left onto Pitt Street. Lin's is the second building on the left. (Yes, the directions take you "around the block" since there is no left turn allowed from Richard Street onto Pitt Street).

Shipping Information
Lin's has years of experience in shipping valuable furniture pieces. We save our customers money and ensure safety during transit by custom building individual crates ourselves. Lin can arrange shipment to anywhere in the continental U.S.

We need your zip code to determine shipping costs. Items that are small can be shipped Priority Mail or UPS. Please indicate preference. Large pieces of furniture are shipped by Overnite Trucking. We build a customized crate for each piece to ensure safety during transit. Please indicate if shipping address is a residential or commercial location. The shipper charges an extra $46 for residential deliveries. Note: For all large pieces of furniture we request liftgate service.

Lin's also provides pickup and delivery services in and around Pennsylvania. Pieces delivered in the State of Pennsylvania are subject to 6% sales tax.
